From Wayland, N.Y., Leslie Havens played basketball from 2009-13. When Leslie finished she ranked second in all-time scoring, collecting 1,303 points (13.0 average). She was named second team All-Liberty League in 2011-12 and 2012-13. In 2010-11 she was All-Empire 8 honorable mention. As a freshman, she was Empire 8 Rookie of the Year. For her career, she is first in career field goals made (477) and second in steals (225). As a senior, she also led the league in steals per game (3.0). Over four seasons, she also appeared in the team’s 100 games. As a freshman in 2009-10, Leslie led the team in scoring, averaging 10.9 points. That same season, she scored a career-high 21 points to go along with eight rebounds vs. Utica. As a sophomore, Leslie scored in double figures 20 times and broke her single-game mark with 23 points against Alfred. In her junior year, she led RIT with 367 points (14.7 points per game), second most in the Liberty League. She also scored 23 points three times against Vassar, William Smith and Dickinson. She recorded three double-doubles, including a 20-point, 15-rebound effort against Skidmore. That earned her Liberty League and RIT Athlete of the Week honors. In her senior campaign, Leslie was the team’s second-leading scorer with 302 points, averaging 12.1 points.
