Tony Fraij earned more All-American titles than anyone in RIT sports history. With 11 awards in cross country and track, the native of Sidney, Ohio also won 23 RIT Athlete of the Week honors. His best cross country performance came in the 1996 NCAA’s where he placed third. RIT’s best national finishes included fourths in 1993 and 1995. In track, he took second in the 10,000 meters in 1996 and third in 1995. The packaging science major was a four-time All-ECAC selection and won the RIT Outstanding Runner Award three times, tying with Hall of Famer Jamie Glydon for honors in 1995. Tony also excelled as a student with a 3.37 grade point average. He was named to the Dean’s List eight quarters.
