Carolyn Koster began her college swimming career at Eisenhower, when it was part of RIT. When that campus closed, she moved to RIT for her senior year. The native of Bethpage, NY was a three-time All-American and all-time career scoring leader at Eisenhower. She was also the Outstanding Athlete of the Year. She set six school records that will never be broken. Her success continued at RIT, where she was an All-American as part of the 200-yard medley relay. She was a New York State champion in the 50-yard breaststroke and as part of the 200-yard medley relay. In that one season, Carolyn scored 158 points. In 1983, she co-captained the team to an 11-1 record and was named Outstanding Swimmer of the Year. She set five school records and numerous pool marks. Carolyn was also named RIT Athlete of the Week numerous times. Carolyn majored in Environmental Studies. For the past 22 years, she has competed in USMS masters swimming and holds 51 top 10 national times. Carolyn has been a licensed optician at Vision People for 24 years.
