Avon, N.Y. native Jeff Hall certainly did more than his share of rewriting RIT baseball history. During a stellar career, Hall caught, played outfield and pitched. His versatility resulted in getting drafted in the fourth round by the Boston Red Sox in 1980. From 1976 to 1980, Hall hit above .300 six times and was twice named to the All-Independent College Athletic Conference team. Hall recorded a .348 career batting average and held single game records for most doubles, home runs, total bases, and RBIs. Hall also held RIT career record for most doubles (50), home runs (22), total bases (333), at bats (538), runs scored (129), hits (187), slugging percent (.643) and RBIs (138).
