Ben Hunt was one of the most prolific scorers in the history of RIT men’s lacrosse. Hunt finished his career as the all-time leading scorer with 275 points. As a freshman in 1996, Hunt was named the Super Six Rookie of the Year. In 1997, Hunt set an RIT single-game record with 14 points in a win over Niagara. He led RIT to the 1998 ECAC Championship. In 1999, Hunt led RIT to a NCAA semifinal appearance; he was a First Team All-American and was the Super Six Player of the Year. Currently, he is second all-time in assists with 150 and points with 275. Hunt led the Tigers to an impressive 40-15 record. He is the only player in the history of the lacrosse program to be a four-time All-American selection and was a first team All-American selection in 1999. Hunt is also the only Tiger to record two 80-point seasons.
