RIT's lone three-time Empire 8 Player of the Year and four-time All-Empire 8 first team selection, Geoff Dornes completed his collegiate career as RIT's all-time leader in hits (199), runs scored (138) and walks (75), while in the top-10 in batting average (.384), slugging percentage (.539), on-base percentage (.469), doubles (31), triples (14), and RBIs (111). He also recorded a 2.99 earned run average on the mound with 13 wins, 12 complete games and three shutouts. The Landisville, Pa. native was a three-time ABCA Division III/Rawlings All-Region Team selection. Dornes, a packaging science major, made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2007, earning Empire 8 Player and Rookie of the Year honors after hitting .452 with a .535 on-base percentage. Dornes added single-season career-high totals of five homers and 37 RBI the following season and was named the RIT co-Male Senior Athlete of the Year in 2010.
