ROCHESTER, NY -- It was another busy week in RIT Athletics with plenty of highlights. Here is a brief look back at the highlights from the past week and a look ahead at upcoming events for the week of Feb. 21, 2017.
Women's Basketball: (17-8, 10-6 Liberty League)
Last Week: RIT went 2-0 last week, winning at William Smith and home versus Union. Wednesday, the Tigers won 79-50 at William Smith. Four players scored in double-figures led by 18 points from
Jessica Glaz (Rockaway Beach, NY/Scholars Academy).
Taylor Burns (Rochester, NY/Greece Odyssey) finished with 16 points and eight rebounds, while
Cori Okada (Fullerton, CA/Troy) tallied 15 points.
Tara Lynch (Green Township, NJ/Newton) scored 12 points, and
Julia Bender (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) grabbed seven rebounds and had six assists.

Friday, Okada scored 21 points, and Glaz added 18 in a 75-60 win over Union in the regular season finale at Clark Gym. Lynch scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Bender grabbed eight rebounds.

Honors and Recognition:
Cori Okada (Fullerton, CA/Troy) – Liberty League Honor Roll
This Week: RIT will compete in the Liberty League Tournament for the second consecutive year. The No. 3 seed Tigers will face No. 2 William Smith on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. in Geneva, N.Y. The winner will face the winner between No. 1 Skidmore and No. 4 Clarkson in the title game on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the highest remaining seed with the winner earning the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. Â

Men's Basketball: (12-13, 6-9 Liberty League)
Last Week: Â RIT lost both games last week, falling 88-73 on Wednesday at Hobart and 81-64 to Union in the regular season finale at Clark Gym on Friday. Wednesday, Troy Pierre-Louis tallied 21 points and Anthony Lewis added 13 points in the loss at Hobart. AJ Horde scored 12 and Pierre-Louis chipped in 11 in the loss to Union.Â

Women's Hockey: (6-24-2, 4-12-2 College Hockey America)
Last Week: Â RIT lost a pair of College Hockey America contests over the weekend to Syracuse University. Friday, the Tigers lost 5-1. Kendall Cornine and Reagan Rust scored RIT's goals. Brooke Stoddart made 33 saves in net. Saturday, the Tigers were shut out 2-0 at Syracuse. Terra Lanteigne made 32 stops in net.

This Week: RIT closes out the regular season this weekend with a pair of College Hockey America contests versus Mercyhurst University. Friday's game at the Gene Polisseni Center gets underway at 6:05 p.m., while Saturday's games faces off at 2:05 p.m. Saturday, RIT will honor the class of 2017 prior to the game as they make their final regular season appearance at the Polisseni Center.

Men's Hockey: (12-20-1, 12-15-0 Atlantic Hockey Conference)
Last Week: RIT lost a pair of Atlantic Hockey Conference home games to No. 19 Air Force last weekend. Friday, the Tigers lost 4-2. Liam Kerins and Jordan Peacock each scored for RIT. Mike Rotolo made 37 saves in net. Saturday, Air Force came away with a 3-2 win. Kerins and Garrett McMullen each scored, while Rotolo made 28 saves.

This Week: RIT closes out the regular season on Saturday with a game at Mercyhurst University. Face-off is at 7:05 p.m. in Erie, Pa.

Women's Swimming and Diving (8-2):
This Week: RIT placed fourth out of 15 teams at the UNYSCSA Championship hosted by Ithaca College last week. The Tigers broke nine school records at the meet.
Sedera Zbranak (Austin, TX/Lake Travis) broke three individual records which included the 200-yard backstroke. She placed second in the event with a NCAA "B" cut qualifying time of 2:03.35. She was RIT's first female winner of an individual event in seven years, winning the 200-yard freestyle in a record time of 1:51.62. She also broke the record in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing the finals in a NCAA "B" cut qualifying time of 56.97.

This Week: The divers compete at the NCAA Region 4 Diving Championship, which will once again be held at Ithaca on Feb, 24-25.
Men's Swimming and Diving (6-2-1):
This Week: RIT finished sixth overall out of 14 teams at the 2017 UNYSCSC Championships last week with a team score of 698 points.
Alex Dieroff (Syracuse, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) and
Ben Hamilton (Addison, NY/Addison) earned top-five finished in the diving competitions.
Alex Dieroff (Syracuse, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) was fourth with an overall score of 508.85, while Hamilton was fifth with an overall score of 447.95.
Shawn Nevers (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) placed fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 58.17.
Honors and Recognition:

Wrestling (9-7):
Last Week: Did not compete
This Week: RIT competes at the NCAA Mideast Regional hosted by York College (Pa.). Competition gets underway on Sat. Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. and continues on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m.
Women's Indoor Track and Field:
Last Week: RIT competed at the Utica College Invitational on Saturday. In the 200-meter dash, RIT had four runners place in the top-11
Ali Binga (Lockport, NY/Starpoint) placed fourth in a time of 27.07.
Marissa Dispenza (Batavia, NY/Batavia) was sixth in a time of 27.22, while
Emily Young (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) and
Kaitlyn Houghtling (Elmira, NY/Thomas A. Edison) placed tenth and eleventh.
Jess Calzolari (Longmont, CO/Mead) won the triple jump with a leap of 11.29 meters, just shy of the school mark she set a week ago at the Liberty League Championship. Houghtling was fourth with a jump of 10.35 meters.
Madeline Pizzo (Irondequoit, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) finished second overall in the shot put with a toss of 11.57 meters.

Rob Dalheim (Rochester, NY/Brockport) placed first in a time of 1:07.00. In the 1,000-meters, RIT had three runners place in the top nine. Grant won the 1000-meters in a time of 2:36.13.

Grant Salk (Livermore, CA/Granada) – Liberty League Honor Roll
This Week: The Tigers will compete at the NYSCTC Championships on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24-25 beginning hosted by St. Lawrence University
Men's Tennis (0-2):
Last Week: RIT opened Liberty League play with a 9-0 loss at Vassar on Friday.

This Week: The Tigers open the spring portion of their schedule on Sunday, Feb. 26 when the Tigers host Skidmore College at 1 p.m.

Men's Lacrosse (1-0):
This Week: RIT opened the 2017 season with a 12-11 win at No. 13 Ohio Wesleyan.
Braden Wallace (Oakville, Ontario/Abbey Park) and
Chad Levick (Newmarket, Ontario/Huron Heights Secondary) each had two goals and two assists, while
Jon Berg (Chester, NJ/Mendham) picked up his first collegiate win, making 11 saves to earn Liberty League Defensive Player of the Week honors. Wallace scored late in the third and early in the fourth quarters, while dishing out two assists to earn Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week honors.
