Two players from the RIT men's basketball team were named to the CSC Academic All-District team.

Brown and Cohen named CSC Academic All-District

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT men's basketball junior guard Brody Brown and sophomore guard Danny Cohen have been named to the 2025-26College Sports Communicators Academic All-District ® selection, announced Tuesday.
 
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Brown started all 25 games for the Tigers this past season, averaging 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. The junior also led the team with 2.5 assists per game.

The Lowville, N.Y. native maintains a 3.92 cumulative grade point average and is a Physician Assistant major.  

Cohen made 23 appearances this past season, averaging 3.2 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.

A native of Yardley, Pa., the sophomore holds a 3.98 cumulative grade point average as a Finance major.
