ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT men's basketball standout forward
Josiah Turner has been named to the United States Basketball Writers Association Area (USBWA) Rochester Area Division II-III Team, announced Tuesday.
Turner, a graduate student, averaged career-bests 14.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while starting all 25 games for the Tigers.
The Beacon, N.Y.-native also recorded 28 blocked shots, which was fifth most in the Liberty League.
Over his four-year career at RIT, Turner has grabbed 519 rebounds, which is tied for the ninth most in program history. His 925 career points rank him 32nd all-time.
