ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior defender Emma Pickering was named the Atlantic Hockey Association Defender of the Week announced by the league on Tuesday, December 9. It is the third time this season she has been honored by the league.
 
Pickering recorded four points on two goals and two assists to lead RIT to a pair of wins against Delaware. She tied her career-high with two goals and blocked three shots in Friday's 5-2 win. Pickering had two assists and blocked six shots in Saturday's 4-2 win.
 
RIT returns to action on Thursday (Jan. 8) at Delaware at 6:00 p.m.
