ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's track & field team finished first out of six teams at the RIT Invitational #1, Friday afternoon, at Gordon Field House.
- Junior Katie Cobos took first place in the 5,000 with an Atlantic Region Championship-qualifying 18:33.85 clocking, while senior Erin Percy placed third (19:08.95) with a Liberty League Championship qualifier.
- Senior Marian Draper crossed first in the 1,000 (3:16.72).
- Freshman Allison Regnante won the triple jump (10.07m) and tied for second in the long jump (4.89m) while adding a leg to the victorious 4x200 relay (1:55.44).
- Freshman Caroline Hill finished runner-up in the 200 with an Atlantic Region qualifying time (26.56) while also hitting a Liberty League mark in finishing second in the 60 (8.16).
- RIT totaled 140 points to out-distance Houghton and Roberts Wesleyan, which each totaled 126 points to tied for second in the six-team field.
RIT will next compete at the Brockport Invitational next Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4-5.
