Set personal-bests in the shot put, discus and the weight throw
Won the shot put final and finished fifth in the weight throw final at the Liberty League Indoor Championships
Competed in the Atlantic Region Indoor Championships
Won the discus final and placed second in the shot put final at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships
Placed third in the discus with a program-record throw of 46.35m (151' 1") and finished fifth in the shot put at the Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships

2022-23:

Took part in seven indoor events and eight outdoor events
Placed seventh in both the shot put and weight throw at the Liberty League Indoor Championships
Finished sixth in the discus, seventh in the shot put and 10th in the hammer throw at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships
Placed fifth in the discus and eighth in the shot put at the Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships

2021-22:

Made collegiate debut at Houghton December Classic on 12/3/2021
Placed fifth in the shot put at the Liberty League Indoor Championships
Finished fifth in the discus and seventh in the shot put at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships
Placed ninth in the discus at the Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships

PERSONAL:

Full name: Emily Anne DiMarco
Daughter of Lene and David DiMarco.
Has three siblings: Heidi, David, and Maya.
Her uncle, Shane Williams, is an RIT graduate.
Started track and field in middle school after being convinced by a friend to try it.
Learned how to throw the discus through YouTube videos and watching upperclassmen from other schools, since her high school track team didn’t have a discus coach.
Favorite athletic moments: Breaking RIT's school record in discus, breaking her high school’s discus record.
Says her high school coach, Devan Carter, has been the biggest influence on her athletic career.
Volunteered as a daycare assistant in 2019.
Best advice ever received: “Be confident. Confidence gets you farther than anything else.”
Favorite athletes: Bills QB Josh Allen and Olympian Sandra Perkovic.
Hobbies include painting, drawing, lifting weights, seeing friends, and reading.
Won an RIT Computing Award and Scholarship in 2020.
