ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior
Aleksei Bingham placed 18th out of 235 runners to lead the Tigers to seventh place out of 16 teams at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational, Saturday, at Genesee Valley Park.
Division I Cornell won the team title with 20 points, followed by Geneseo (73), Division I Buffalo (93), NYU (127), Rochester (150), Nazareth (219) and RIT (242).
Bingham finished the eight-kilometer course with a 26:13.9 clocking. Freshman
Matthew Chaikowsky was the next Tiger across the line in 54th (27:13.5).
Freshman Zachary Hall placed 70th (27:28.0), while junior
Zachary Eckhardt ended up 79th (27:40.1) and sophomore
Jacob Fricano crossed 88th (27:56.4).
RIT will compete next Saturday (Sept. 25) at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan. Race time is set for 10:00 a.m.
