Biography

2022-23: 2021-22: 
  • Finished first in the Highlander Cross Country Invitational with an 8K time of 25:54.6.
  • Finished 11th in the Liberty League Cross Country Championship with an 8K time of 26:11.5.
  • Qualified for the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, where he finished 23rd with an 8K time of 26:02.6.
  • Named the All-Tiger Team representative for men's cross country. 
  • Twice given Liberty League weekly honors for men's cross country. 
  • Had two top-three finishes (second in Nazareth Alumni Invitational 3K and third in RIT January Friday Meet 5K) during indoor track season.
  • Set personal college best 8:45.90 in the 3000 at the Liberty League Indoor Track & Field Championship.
  • Set personal college best 32:48.39 in the 10K at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational, finishing third.
  • Set personal college best 3:59.69 in the 1500 at the AARTFC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, finishing 20th.
  • Had two top-threes and four top-fives during the outdoor season. 

BEFORE RIT:
  • Division 1 State Champion in indoor 1500m and 3000m in 2018 at North Country Union High School.
  • Division 1 State Champion in outdoor 3000m in 2018.
  • Holds his high school’s record in the 1600m, mile, 2k steeple, and 300m.
  • Was ranked top 25 in all of New England in the outdoor 3200m in 2018, while ranking top 10 in New England for the indoor mile that same year.
  • Placed 33rd at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional in cross country in 2017.
  • Credits his high school cross country coach, Chris Shaffer, with having the most influence on his athletic career.
  • Took up running in 2014 because he “sucked” at baseball, basketball, and soccer.
