HOUGHTON, N.Y. – RIT senior
Aleksei Bingham finished first out of 99 runners to lead the Tigers to third place out of eight teams at the Houghton Highlander Invitational, Saturday.
Bingham completed the eight-kilometer course in 25:54.56, besting the field by 15 seconds. Freshman
Zack Hall also logged a top-10 finish, crossing seventh with a 26:50.85 clocking.

Zachary Eckhardt finished 12th (27:03.23, before sophomore
Jacob Fricano (27:29.72) and freshman
Tayo Sonuga (27:32.50) placed 17th and 18th, respectively, to complete the Tigers' top-five.
Junior
Ben Russell placed 24th (27:57.62) while freshman
Ryan Wisniewski ended up 32nd (28:20.17).
Cortland won the team competition with 42 points, followed by St. John Fisher (48) and RIT (55).
RIT will return to action next Saturday (Oct. 16) at the Canisius Alumni Classic, set to start at 12:45 p.m.
