SARATOGA, N.Y. – RIT senior
Aleksei Bingham finished 11th out of 110 runners to lead the Tigers to fifth place out of nine teams at the Liberty League Championships, Saturday, at Saratoga Spa State Park.
- Bingham crossed the eight-kilometer finish line with a 26:11.5 clocking, just over 30 seconds behind individual champion Matthew Lecky (25:39.5) from RPI.
- Junior Richard Ellsworth was the second Tiger finisher in 29th place (27:15.1) followed by freshman Matthew Chaikowsky (27:21.0) in 34th.
- Sophomore Jacob Fricano (27:34.0) and senior Kyle Higby (27:39.6) placed 34th and 35th, respectively, to close RIT's top-five.
- Freshman Ryan Wisniewski (27:40.4) was close behind in 36th before Zachary Eckhardt (27:55.7) completed the Tigers' top-seven in 48th.

RIT will compete at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championships on Saturday, Nov. 13, hosted by SUNY Geneseo at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, N.Y.
