GENESEO, N.Y. – RIT senior
Aleksei Bingham finished 23rd out of 404 runners to lead the Tigers to eighth place out of 33 teams at the Mike Woods Invitational, hosted by Geneseo at the National Warplane Museum.
Bingham finished the eight-kilometer circuit in 25 minutes, 29.5 seconds. RIT freshman
Matthew Chaikowsky was the second Tiger across the line in 40th with a time of 26:02.8
Freshman
Zack Hall placed 72nd (26:35.8), before senior
Kyle Higby (26;49.2) and sophomore
Jacob Fricano (27:09.1) finished 84th and 106th, respectively.
The host Knights won the meet with 32 points, followed by Middlebury (78) Otterbein (91), Case Western (137), Hamilton (220), St. Lawrence (246), Ithaca (257) and RIT (290).
RIT is next scheduled to compete at the Houghton Highland Invitational next Saturday (Oct. 9) at 12:00 p.m.
