Box Score ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT (2-2) men's basketball team was defeated 80-70 by St. John Fisher College at the 2019 Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout hosted by the University of Rochester Saturday evening.

RIT shot 39.0 percent from the floor on 23-of-59 shooting. The Tigers made just 8-of-24 from beyond the arc, and went 16-of-31 from the foul line. Matt Anderson (Bennington, VT/Mt. Anthony Union) led RIT with 20 points and eight rebounds. Josh Griffin (Tustin, CA/Orange Lutheran) tallied 13 points, while Michael Young (Brookly, NY/Nazareth Regional) finished with 11 rebounds.

James Leone led St. John Fisher with 20 points and nine rebounds. Sammy Robinson and Brendan Topper each had 17 points for the Cardinals who shot 41.7 percent from the floor.

RIT returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Alfred University at 5 p.m.
