HAMILTON, NY – The RIT men's tennis team (1-3) returned to the courts after a two and a half week absence, falling to Hamilton (4-5) on the road by a score of 6-3 on Saturday.

Opening up the contest in first doubles, the team of Chandler Daub (Kailua-Kona, HI/Kealakehe) and Ben Lynaugh (Fairport, NY/Fairport) picked up their second doubles win of the season, besting Devin White and Alex Streich 8-5. The Continentals took the next two matches, to take a 2-1 lead into singles play.

Daub continued his strong day, picking up a win at first singles. Daub dispatched Eyad Nagori in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1. Jared Ingoglia (Essex Fells, NJ/West Essex Regional) survived a three-set battle with Max McKee-Proctor for his team-leading third singles win on the season. After taking the first set, Ingoglia dropped a tough second set, as McKee-Proctor forced the third set tiebreak. Ingoglia stayed composed, outlasting McKee-Proctor to take the match, a 7-5, 6-7 (7), 10-3 score.
