ROCHESTER, NY -- Even though RIT was on Thanksgiving break, there were a handful teams in action last week. Here is a look back to last week and a brief look ahead to an action-packed weekend of events at RIT. For more information click

Women's Basketball: (4-0, 0-0 Liberty League)
Last Week: Monday, the Tigers defeated Allegheny College 87-49 at Clark Gym. Three players scored in double figures led by
Jessica Glaz (Rockaway Beach, NY/Scholars Academy) who tallied 16 points.
Tara Lynch (Green Township, NJ/Newton) tallied 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while
Ashlynn Palmitesso (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) scored 10 points.

This Week: The Tigers will play in the inaugural Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout. Friday, the Tigers face Nazareth College at St. John Fisher. Saturday, RIT plays at St. John Fisher at 8 p.m.

Men's Basketball: (2-1, 0-0 Liberty League)
Last Week: Â RIT hosted the 32nd Harold J. Brodie Tournament last weekend. Saturday, the Tigers defeated Clark Summit University 88-40.
Anthony Lewis (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) and
Mitch Herman (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) led the Tigers each with a career-high 20 points.
AJ Horde (Oak Park, MI/University of Detroit Jesuit) added 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Saturday, RIT lost to Wesleyan 83-65 in the Brodie championship game. Horde, who was named to the All-Tournament team, led RIT with 20 points. Herman tallied eight points, earning All-Tournament Team honors.

Women's Hockey: (3-15-0, 1-5-0 College Hockey America)
Last Week: RIT split a pair of non-conference road games at Rensselaer over the weekend. Friday, the Tigers lost 5-1. Tori Haywood scored the Tigers lone goal, while Terra Lanteigne made 32 saves in net for RIT. Saturday, Jade Mancini, Kendall Cornine and Cassie Clayton each scored as the Tigers beat RPI 3-1. Cornine added a pair of assists, while Jenna de Jonge got the win in net, making 31 saves.

This Week: RIT will play a weekend series versus CHA Syracuse University. Friday, the Tigers play at Syracuse, while the same two teams will play on Saturday afternoon at the Gene Polliseni Center.

Men's Hockey: (6-7-1, 6-5-0 Atlantic Hockey Conference)
Last Week: Erik Brown scored with 49.9 seconds left in regulation to break a 3-3 tie and lift RIT to its third straight win, 4-3 over host Mercyhurst University on Wednesday evening. With the win, RIT moved into a tie for first in the Atlantic Hockey standings. Myles Powell scored a pair of goals, while Adam Brubacher added a goal for the Tigers. Gabe Valenzuela dished out a pair of assists, and Mike Rotolo got the win in net, making 30 saves.

This Week: RIT will host the 51st Annual RIT Invitational on Saturday, December 3 at the Gordon Fieldhouse and Activities Center on the campus of RIT. Competition begins at 9:30 a.m.
Men and Women's Indoor Track and Field:
This Week: The RIT Indoor Track and Field team begins its season on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2-3 when the Tigers compete at the Brockport Early Season Invitational. Multi-events begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, while individual events begin Saturday at 10 a.m.
