ONEONTA, NY -- The RIT men's tennis team went on the road to beat SUNY Oneonta 6-3 in non-conference action from Oneonta, New York on Friday afternoon. The Tigers improve to 5-7 overall on the season, and Tennyson Saucedo (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) and Neville Billimoria each go 2-0 on the day.

In doubles action, the team of Clayton Tontarski (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) and Larry Hall (Fairport, NY/Fairport) defeated Adam Shapiro and Adam Slifkin 8-3 in first doubles.

The team of Neville Billimoria and Tennyson Saucedo (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) increased the Tigers to 2-0 in doubles action, defeating David Goldberg and Mackenzie Park, 8-4 in second doubles.

In singles, Saucedo defeated Shapiro in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0 in second singles.

Billimoria picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win over Park third singles givng RIT a 4-1 lead.

Amos Baptiste (Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) gave RIT a 5-1 lead with a win in fourth singles, defeating Joey Milstein, 6-4, 6-1.

Senior Max Bogue (Colchester, VT/Colchester) sealed the win with straight sets win over Slifkin, 6-2, 6-2 in sixth singles.

The Tigers will host Union College in Liberty League action from RIT Courts on Saturday, April 14 at 3 p.m.
