GENEVA, NY - The RIT men's tennis team picked up its second win of the 2009 season, defeating Hobart College, 6-3 in a non-league match on Tuesday afternoon. RIT improves to 2-3 in 2009 with the victory, while Hobart falls to 2-10.

The freshman trio of Clayton Tontarski (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta), Max Bogue (Colchester, VT/Colchester) (Colchester, VT/Colchester) and Adam Wolf (South Euclid, Ohio/Brush) (South Euclid, OH/Brush) picked up victories for RIT, along with junior  John Traver (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) (Clifton Park, NY/Shenedehowa). 

RIT won two of three doubles matches. Guzman and Tontarski earned an 8-4 win at first doubles, while Wolf and Traver earned an 9-7 win at second doubles.

The Tigers are back in action on Sunday, as they travel to Empire 8 rival Hartwick to play the Hawks at 1 p.m.
