ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's tennis team defeated Oswego, 7-0 in the season-opener, Saturday.
 
DOUBLES:

• Juniors Yu Tanimoto and Alexander Sinclair beat Cole Lyons and Tyler Yhun, 6-1 at first doubles.
• Sophomores Evan Ly and Trent Sauer defeated Ryan Keil and Cosmo Lund, 6-0 at second doubles and first years Justin Hardie and Adib Hazzan took down Zach Triantafillou and Mike DeGroat 6-1 at third doubles.

 
SINGLES:

• Tanimoto defeated Lyons 6-2, 6-1 at first singles and Ly was a 6-2, 6-2 winner over Lund at second singles.
• Hardie beat Yhun 6-3, 6-3 at third singles and sophomore Greg Sauer beat Kell in straight sets at fourth singles.
• Junior Tyler Mitrovic did not lose a game in his win over Cole Fleming at fifth singles and sophomore Anjann Sai Bharadwaj Boorela beat Duncan Baker 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles.
