Carlianna Ewing were recently named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Softball Team.
The Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. To be considered, nominees had to have achieved at least a sophomore standing and a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average while playing a prominent role on the field of competition.
Majot landed her third-straight all-district nod after leading the Tigers with 105.2 innings pitched and 90 strikeouts. Accumulating a perfect 4.0 grade point average while majoring in mechanical engineering, she also finished her RIT career seventh in program history with 300 strikeouts, tied for fifth with 81 appearances, eighth with 42 complete games, sixth with 26 victories and sixth with 66 starts.
Ewing ended the season third on the squad with a career-high .339 batting average along with 39 hits. The industrial design major with a 3.87 GPA also scored a team-high 35 runs while finishing fourth with 15 RBI and 43 total bases while starting 36 of 38 games.
