Joe Holenstein was named to this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week announced on Tuesday, March 17.
Holenstein recorded 19 ground balls, caused five turnovers and scored a goal to lead RIT to a 3-0 record. He caused three turnovers and had six ground balls in RIT's 12-11 loss to No. 17 Wesleyan, Sunday. Holenstein had seven ground balls and caused two turnovers in the Tigers 10-7 win over No. 9 Gettysburg and scored a goal and had six ground balls in the Tigers 22-13 win over No. 15 Washington & Lee, Sunday.
RIT, ranked No. 10 in this week's USILA Division III poll, returns to action on Wednesday (March 18) at No. 12 St. John Fisher at 7:00 p.m.
