ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior Faye Kaplinski was named the Liberty League Women's Basketball Player of the Week announced by the conference, Monday.
 
Kaplinski averaged 13.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and shot 86 percent from the floor (12-of-14 shooting) to lead RIT to a pair of Liberty League wins. The junior forward scored 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting in RIT's 87-54 win over Clarkson, Friday. Kaplinski scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 71-49 win over St. Lawrence, Saturday.
