ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The RIT women's track & field team delivered multiple top finishes at the Nazareth D3 Elite Invitational, held Friday and Saturday at the Golisano Training Center.
Senior
Rachel Kulp led the Tigers, winning the long jump with an AARTFC mark of 5.39m and also taking first in the 60m prelims. Her 7.73 performance in the 60m prelims set a program record before taking fourth in the finals.
Sophomore
Sophia DiGennero turned in a runner‑up finish in the 800m with a time of 2:23.33, while senior
Abby Nautel added a sixth‑place finish.
In the distance events, Senior
Abby Thomas led RIT in the mile with a fourth‑place finish in 5:23.18. Senior
Micah Gordley finished third in the 3000m in 10:35.64, just ahead of junior
Eva Reilly in fourth. Senior
Rachael Ladd rounded out the Tigers' top‑10 finishers in ninth place.
First‑year
Alyssa Kelleher tied for fifth in the pole vault at 3.17m, while senior
Rania Sabri placed third in the 60m hurdles with an AARTFC‑qualifying time of 9.42. Senior
Samantha Crisci contributed strong performances in both the 200m and 400m invite sections.
The 4x400 relay of Celia, Crisci, DiGennero, and Malanga finished second in 4:11.16.
