ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior defender Katherine Killian was named a 2026 USA Lacrosse Second Team Division III Preseason All-American announced Wednesday (Jan. 28).
 
Killian was a First Team IWLCA All-Region and First Team All-Liberty League selection last season. The 2025 Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year, Killian finished second in the league averaging 6.47 draw controls, winning a season-high 12 draw controls against Union. Killian finished third in the Liberty League averaging 3.24 ground balls per contest, and led RIT with a career-best 23 caused turnovers. She enters 2026 fifth in program history with 160 career draw controls.
 
RIT begins its 2026 season on Saturday (Feb. 21) against Geneseo at 3:00 p.m.
