ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior attack
Zoe Heffernan tallied a goal and three assists in the Tigers 15-10 loss to Clarkson in the Liberty League action, Saturday.

Stephen won 12 draw controls, while Validzic won five draws. Heffernan had four ground balls and sophomore defender
Jocelyn Lee and senior midfielder
Kate Trojan each had three ground balls. Lee caused three turnovers and senior goalie
Ellie Ruddy made six saves in net for the Tigers.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Clarkson scored the first five goals of the game, taking a 5-0 lead on Morgan Kenna's goal with 3:12 remaining in the first quarter.
- Barton scored with 2:21 to play in the opening frame to cut Clarkson's lead to 5-1.
- Sydney Nakas and Kenna scored back-to-back goals early in the second quarter to extend the Golden Knight's lead to 7-1.
- Validzic scored off an assist from Heffernan to cut Clarkson's lead to 7-2.
- Brooklynne Perrigo scored to give Clarkson an 8-2 lead before Validzic scored two straight goals to cut the Golden Knight's lead to 8-4 at halftime.
- Karli Scherpf and Kenna tallied two straight goals in the third quarter to extend Clarkson's lead to 10-4.
- Bovenzi scored to make it 10-5 and Barton scored her second goal of the game with 1:44 to play in the third quarter to cut Clarkson's lead to 10-6.
- Maeve Bartell gave Clarkson an 11-6 lead on her goal with 41 seconds remaining in the third.
- Clarkson scored the first three goals of the fourth quarter, taking a 14-6 lead on Perrigo's goal with 12:48 remaining.
- Barton scored a women-up goal to make it 14-7 before Scherpf scored to give the Golden Knight's a 15-7 lead.
- Sekora scored her first collegiate goal with 5:31 remaining and Heffernan and Stephen scored late in the quarter to make it a 15-10 final.
GAME NOTES:
- RIT outshot Clarkson, 32-30.
- The Tigers won 21-of-27 draws and 11-of-14 on clears.
- RIT had 22 ground balls and caused nine turnovers.
