GENESEO, N.Y. – The RIT women's track & field team opened the outdoor season at the Bill Q Invitational on Saturday. The meet, originally scheduled to be a home meet, was moved to Geneseo due to unfavorable weather conditions.
Senior hurdler
Justine Draper placed second in the 400m Hurdles with a regional qualifying time of 1:07.08 as junior hurdler
Rania Sabri posted a regional qualifying time of 15.61 seconds with a second-place finish in the 100m Hurdles.
Senior sprinter
Caroline Hill won the 400m, crossing the finish line in 59.04 seconds.
In the 5,000m, sophomore
Therese Georgia took seventh with a regional qualifying clocking of 18:31.03.

Emily DiMarco and
Bailee Drummond placed second and third with regional marks of 39.24m and 38.31m, respectively.
