2023-24:
- Took part in six outdoor meets
- Set a personal-best of 36.91m (121' 1") in the javelin
- Finished second in the javelin final at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships
- Competed at Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships
2022-23:
- Took part in eight outdoor events
- Set personal-bests in the hammer and shot put
- Finished third in the javelin final and fifth in the shot put final at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships
- Competed at Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships
2021-22:
- Took part in seven outdoor meets
- Made collegiate track & field debut at the Redhawk Invitational on 3/17/2022
- Placed 10th in the shot put final at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships

- Played basketball for Parkland High School
- Team captain

- Civil engineering technology major
- Daughter of Christina and Dan Shivok
- Has two siblings, Coral and Dimitri
- Full name: Sonya Marie Shivok.
- Got into basketball in kindergarten because her parents believed being part of a sports group would be valuable. She fell in love with the game after that.
- Favorite athletic moments: Celebrations during freshman year.
- Best advice ever received: “If you think you’re tired, you’re not. There’s more left in you.”
- Says her basketball AAU coach has had the most influence on her. “She taught me the value of hard work.”
- Hobbies include crocheting, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing.
