ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT junior defender Emma Pickering was named the Atlantic Hockey America Defender of the Week announced by the league on Tuesday (Dec. 2).

Pickering recorded five points on a goal and four assists and had 10 blocks in a pair of games against Robert Morris. She scored a goal and had five blocked shots in Friday's loss. Pickering recorded a career-high four assists and had five blocked shots in a 6-3 win over the Colonials the following day.

RIT returns to action on Friday (Dec. 5) against Delaware at 3:00 p.m.
