ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior Emma Pickering was named the Atlantic Hockey America Defender of the Month for November and first year Tilli Keranen was the Rookie of the Month announced by the league on Monday.
 
Pickering led RIT with 13 points on four goals and nine assists and 30 blocks in nine November games. She recorded three assists in a 7-1 win over Lindenwood (Nov. 1). Pickering scored a goal and added an assist at Colgate (Nov. 7), earning AHA Defender of the Week honors (Nov. 11).  She scored two goals against Penn State (Nov. 21) and had a career high four assists in a 6-3 win over Robert Morris (Nov. 29). 
 
Keranen recorded seven points on three goals and four assists in eight November games for RIT. She tallied a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win at Colgate (Nov. 8). Keranen scored a goal against Penn State (Nov. 21) and had two assists against the Nittany Lions (Nov. 22), earning AHA Rookie of the Week honors (Nov. 25). The first year forward tallied a goal and an assist in a win over Robert Morris (Nov. 29).
