ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT sophomore runner Derick Koen was named Liberty League Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced Monday, October 2.

Koen finished first out of 376 runners (25:36.5) to lead the men's cross country team to fourth place out of 34 teams Saturday at the Paul Short Run in the Men's College White 8K.

RIT returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 7) at the Highlander Invitational hosted by Houghton at 11:00 a.m.
