ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior Spencer Buff finished 14th out of 212 runners to lead the Tigers to a fourth-place finish at the Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational at Genesee Valley Park, Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Buff crossed the finish line in 25:50.1 to pace the Tigers.
• Sophomore Luca Strangis was RIT's second finisher, placing 30th overall in 26:19.1.
• Senior Zachary Sowers crossed the line 42nd overall with a time of 26:35.1.
• Junior Matthew Califf placed 52nd overall in 26:46.1.
• Senior Samuel Adamson rounded out RIT's top five scoring runners, finishing 56th overall in 26:52.6.
• Junior Nathan Merlo placed 62nd overall in 26:59.9, while freshman Dylan Walsh finished 77th in 27:21.2 to complete the Tigers' top seven.
• Geneseo won the team title with 24 points, followed by Colgate (35), host Rochester (105), and RIT (145) in the 17-team field.
