ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior outfielder Hannah Trumble and junior catcher Alexis Smith were named honorable mention members of the 2022 Liberty League Softball All-Conference team, Wednesday.
 
Trumble finished the season ranked seventh in the Liberty League and first for the Tigers with a career-high .398 batting average. She also led the Tigers with 45 hits, including a conference-best six triples, 27 runs, 62 total bases and a .549 slugging percentage, while finishing second with 13 RBI.
 
Trumble logged 12 multi-hit games, including five outings with three hits. She went 3-for-6 with a pair of runs scored, a stolen base and four RBI in a 14-11 setback to visiting Buffalo State (Apr. 20) and also finished a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI in a 9-1 (5 inn.) win over visiting Nazareth (Apr. 26).
 
Smith landed her second-consecutive honorable mention all-conference honor after finishing the spring with a .300 batting average while bringing home a team-best 18 RBI. She also finished second with 18 runs and tied for second with 30 hits, including a Tiger-high eight doubles, while slugging .400.
 
Smith logged eight multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4 day with a double, a triple, two runs scored and an RBI in a 6-4 setback to visiting St. Lawrence (Apr. 24). She also finished 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI in a 3-2 home loss to Clarkson (Apr. 23).
