RIT won the first rescheduled game, 3-2, on Jan. 11 at the Polisseni Center, holding on after building a 3-0 lead after two periods. Freshman forward Gray Hobbs was credited with a goal and an assist for his first multi-point game in a Tiger sweater, while junior goaltender Kolby Matthews made 37 saves, including 17 in the first period. Senior forwards Kobe Walker and Nick Bruce also logged goals in the win.

RIT earned five out of six points during a two-game set at Bentley over the weekend. Bentley scored a power-play goal with six seconds remaining in the first period of Friday night's game before the Tigers responded with a pair of goals by sophomore defenseman Dimitri Mikrogiannakis and senior forward Nick Bruce in the second en route to a 2-1 victory. Freshman Tommy Scarfone totaled 29 saves, stopping all 21 shots he faced over the final two periods to preserve the victory.

After Saturday's rematch was moved to Sunday due to the snowstorm which hit the region, RIT dug out of a 3-1 third-period deficit with under 15 minutes remaining in regulation on its way to a 3-3 tie. Senior forward Jake Hamacher scored two goals while junior forward Andrew Rinaldi notched the game-tying goal off a nice individual effort with 9:10 left in the third period. RIT eventually won the extra Atlantic Hockey point with a 1-0 shootout victory, capped by a goal by senior forward Jake Joffe. Junior goaltender Kolby Matthews logged 26 saves, including two in overtime, before stopping all three shots he faced in the shootout.

Senior defenseman Dan Willett notched his 80th career point and his Atlantic Hockey-leading 70th career assist during Sunday's tie. He also tied Alexander Kuqali (2012-16) for second in RIT's Division I era with his 153rd career appearance and only sits one behind Josh Mitchell (154, 2012-16) for first place.

Sunday was Hamacher's seventh career two-goal game and first since a two-goal/one-assist showing in a 5-1 victory over visiting Bentley on Feb. 14. 2020. He currently leads all of Atlantic Hockey with 99 career points, including 42 goals, and sits one behind Willett with 152 games played.

RIT is 10-1-3 this season when holding opponents to three goals or less, including an 8-1-1 mark when holding teams under three goals.

Senior forward Will Calverley was nominated for the 2022 Hobey Baker Award, annually presented to the nation's top NCAA men's hockey player, Calverley currently leads Atlantic Hockey with 11 goals and is tied for seventh with 20 points. The Scarborough, Ontario native also leads all Atlantic Hockey players with 43 career goals and is second with 84 career points in 112 games over the last four seasons. Calverley was named only the fourth All-American in Division-I era history (AHCA Second-Team) last season while earning Atlantic Hockey-West Co-Player of the Year and Best Defensive Forward plaudits.
