2023-24
• Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team
• Played all 40 games while totaling nine points on two goals and seven assists.
• Led the team and finished 14th nationally with a career-high 71 blocked shots.
• Tied a career-high with four blocked shots on three occasions, including the 4-1 victory over Niagara (Mar. 15) to open the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals.
• Also scored a goal and blocked two shots the following night in 5-2 win over the Purple Eagles Mar. 16) to complete the sweep.
• Tallied a goal and an assist to go along with three blocks in 5-2 victory over AIC in Atlantic Hockey Championship game (Mar. 23)
• Notched a career-high three points – all assists – and blocked four shots in 6-2 victory over Robert Morris (Dec. 2).
• Assist and two blocks in 5-3 win at Army (Nov. 3).

2022-23

• Finished second on the team among defensemen with a career-high 10 points on four goals and six assists.
• Third for the Tigers with 39 blocked shots, fourth with a +10 plus-minus.
• Goal, assist and two blocked shots in 5-3 Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinal win over Mercyhurst (Mar. 3)
• Also blocked two shots and assisted a goal in 4-3 win over the Lakers the following night to complete the postseason sweep.
• Scored a goal in the 10-4 win at Canisius (Dec. 3).
• Blocked a career-high four shots in 3-1 win at Bentley (Jan. 7).
• Notched a goal in 5-3 win at Arizona State (Jan. 21).

2021-22

• Played 36 games, totaling five points on a goal and four assists 
• Finished third on the team with 40 blocked shots
• First collegiate goal was a game-tying tally early in the second period during a 2-1 win at Bentley (Jan. 28)
• Assisted the opening goal in the Tigers' 3-2 victory at AIC (Nov. 7)
• Logged an assist in the 4-3 win vs. Holy Cross (Nov. 20)
• Notched assists in back-to-back games at Mercyhurst (Feb. 12) and at Niagara (Feb. 18)
• Blocked a season-high four shots in a 3-2 win vs. Niagara (Feb. 19)

2020-21

• Appeared in 18 games, totaling three assists
• Finished third for the Tigers with 18 blocked shots
• Notched first collegiate point on an assist in 4-3 setback to LIU (Dec. 11)
• Had assists in back-to-back road games opposite Niagara (W, 5-4 Dec. 22) and Colgate (T, 4-4 Dec. 29).
• Blocked four shots in 4-3 setback at Robert Morris (Jan. 3).

BEFORE RIT
• First-Team BCHL All-Star and Island Division MVP in 2020 with the Cowichan Capitals
• Finalist for league MVP and runner-up for the Top Defenseman Award after finishing third among defensemen with 46 points (seven goals, 39 assists) in 57 games
• Graduated from Cardinal Carter Academy in 2017
• Ontario Scholar Award recipient.

• Dimitri “Mikro” Alexander Mikrogiannakis was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario
• Son of Angelo and Joyce Mikrogiannakis
• Has three younger siblings – Talia, Aristotle and Andreas
• Enjoys cooking, golfing and reading in his spare time
• Salvation Army volunteer
• Best advice ever received – “Keep your feet moving”
• Lists his family as having the most influence on his playing career – “My dad has always been there as a mentor and friend through the peaks and valleys of my hockey career. He’s always been honest with me and pushed me to be my best”
• Started playing hockey at age four

• Completed an undergraduate degree in psychology last spring.
