ITHACA, NY -- The RIT men's tennis team defeated Ithaca College, 7-2, Saturday. The Tigers went 4-2 in singles action, and won 2-of-3 in doubles competition. RIT returns to action Tuesday, March 3, at home against Hobart College at 3 p.m.

In doubles action, the team of Nick Lim (West Caldwell, NJ/West Caldwell) and Patrick Mathews (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) were 8-4 winners at second doubles, while the team of Veroshn Jayanetti and Jake Wolicki (Canton, MA/Canton) picked up an 8-2 win at third doubles. In singles, Bull, Mathews, Jayanetti, Spencer Lowitt (Syosset, NY/Syosset) and Jacob Meyerson (Cranston, RI/Cranston West) each won. Bull, Jayanetti, Lowitt and Meyerson each won in straight sets.
