CLINTON, NY - The RIT men's tennis team (3-6) fell on the road at Hamilton College (7-6), by a score of 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
Hamilton opened by sweeping the three doubles matches. The first doubles team of
Amos Baptiste (Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) and
Jared Ingoglia (Essex Fells, NJ/West Essex Regional) put up a valiant effort before falling, 8-5. RIT's third doubles duo of
Jason Alexander (Austin, TX/Bowie) and
Jared Raphael (Batavia, NY/Batavia) also played well before dropping an 8-5 decision.
Hamilton would win all six singles matches, all in straight sets.
RIT is back in action on Saturday, hosting Liberty League foe Bard College at Mendon Tennis Center at 2 p.m.
