CANTON, NY - The RIT men's tennis team (2-3, 0-2 Liberty League) dropped its second straight Liberty League contest, falling to St. Lawrence (3-2, 1-1 Liberty League) by a score of 9-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The third doubles team of Ken Chou (Endicott, NY/Union Endicott ) and Frank McGinn III (Wappingers Falls, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes) made a strong bid for a win at third singles before coming up just short, 8-5. At fifth singles, Marc LaChance took Kevin Frommer to a tie-breaker in the second set, before going down 7-5. Amos Baptiste (Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) lost two close sets at second singles to Dean Sponholz, 6-4, 6-4.

The Tigers are back in action on Friday, March 13, with a non-league match at Division II LeMoyne that gets underway at 6:45 p.m.
