ITHACA, NY -- The RIT men's tennis team (3-5) won its second straight match, defeating Ithaca College 6-3 in non-conference action from Wheeler Courts on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers swept all three doubles matches en route to the win.

In first doubles action the team of Clayton Tontarski (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) and Kevin Layer (Clarence, NY/Clarence) beat Justin Levine and David Anderson 8-5. The second doubles team of Chandler Daub (Kailua-Kona, HI/Kealakehe) and Mark Gonzalez (Jersey City, NJ/High Tech) defeated Zach Lipson and Griffin Reid, 8-6, while the team of Will Abisalih (Merrimac, MA/Phillips Exeter Academy) and Neville Billimoria defeated Hayes and Hank, 8-4 in third doubles.

Tontarski and Daub each picked up straight set wins at first and second singles action, while Layer beat Hanf, 2-6, 6-0, 10-7 in sixth singles to secure the Tigers win.

RIT will host the University of Rochester on Wednesday, April 10 at 4 p.m. on RIT Tennis Courts.
