That was RIT's lone shot on goal during the game. Stevens out-shot RIT 16-5 overall. Stevens had four penalty kicks to RIT's two.
Katria Misilo had Stevens' best chance late in regulation, but rang a shot off the crossbar.
Ashley Conti (Canfield, OH/Canfield) (Canfield, OH/Canfield) received the start in net for RIT and stopped five shots in the shutout win.
RIT has now won two straight. They control their own destiny to earn a berth in the Empire 8 postseason tourney. RIT is currently third with 10 points and three conference games remaining. The top four teams make the tournament.
Stevens had won 44 straight home games, before Ithaca and RIT defeated the Ducks in succession this season.
The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday, as they travel to Alfred University to play the Saxons in an Empire 8 contest starting at 7 p.m.
