ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT will travel to Gorham, Maine to face Rowan to open the 2026 NCAA Baseball Tournament as the 64-team field was announced, Monday.
The Tigers (24-13) will face Rowan (32-5) in Game 1 on Friday (May 15) to open the four-team, double-elimination regional, before host Southern Maine (30-10) takes on Babson (26-15) in Game 2.
RIT earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after defeating Hobart, 17-6, on Saturday to win its second Liberty League Championship. The Tigers will be making their second NCAA appearance in program history and first since 2017.
