UTICA, N.Y. – The RIT women's track & field team competed at the Utica Blue & Orange Invitational & Multi, held Friday and Saturday at the Hutton Sports & Recreation Center.
Sophomore
Sophia DiGennero led RIT on the track with a sixth-place finish in the 800m, crossing the line in 2:25.76, while first-year
Valerie Gilbert finished ninth in 2:26.69. Junior
Eva Reilly recorded a strong showing in the Mile, placing seventh in 5:19.57.
Junior
Therese Georgia competed in the 3000m, finishing 12th in 10:48.00. In the 400m, first-year
Sophia Celia finished 20th in 1:05.16.
In the combined events, first-year
Hannah Mandell represented the Tigers in the pentathlon, finishing fifth overall with 2,574 points.
