ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's track & field team hosted and competed at the RIT Friday Meet, Friday evening.
Junior
Jack DeFeo won the 300 meters in 35.24, while sophomore
John Elliot captured the 400 meters in 50.56. Senior
Jonathan Jacobs placed sixth in the 60‑meter dash final (7.27).
First-year Matthew Monnes finished second in the 3000 meters (9:10.26), followed by sophomore
Spencer Buff in third (9:10.66). RIT also placed four runners in the top seven of the mile, led by sophomore Matt Califf in second (4:27.80).
In the field events, senior
Bradley Baybutt and first-year
Cooper Bradley tied for third in the high jump (1.88m). First-year Aden Memoli finished fourth in the triple jump (12.87m) and seventh in the long jump (6.44m).
