FREDONIA, N.Y. – The RIT Women's Volleyball lost both ends of a tri-match to close the 2025 season, Saturday, falling to host Fredonia, 3-1 (26-28, 25-23, 25-22, 25-17) and John Carrol, 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-19).

- RIT led, 16-8, in the first set before Fredonia answered with a 5-1 run to pull within four, 17-13. The Tigers scored the next five points for a 22-13 lead, but the Blue Devils tied the score with a 9-0 run, and later led 24-23 before back-to-back RIT points. Fredonia scored the next two points to lead, 26-25, but RIT scored three in a row on three Blue Devil attack errors to take the first.
- Fredonia led, 16-14, in the second before RIT put together a 5-0 run to take a 19-16 lead. The Tigers led, 21-19, but the Blue Devils scored the next five points for a 24-21 lead it would not relinquish.
- RIT held a 13-12 lead in the third before Fredonia scored a 4-0 run for a 16-13 lead. Later trailing 19-16, the Tigers tied the score, 20-20, with a 4-1 run, but Fredonia scored five of the final seven points to take the set.
- Tied, 8-8, in the fourth, Fredonia rode an 8-2 surge to a 16-10 lead and later scored a 5-0 run for a decisive 22-13 edge en route to the victory.

- RIT led, 5-3, to start the first set before John Carroll rode a 15-4 run to an 18-7 lead. The Tigers scored a 7-2 run to pull withing six, 20-14, but John Carroll later scored three of the final four points to earn the opening victory.
- Tied, 8-8, in the second set, John Carroll rode a 12-1 to a 20-9 lead that proved decisive.
- RIT opened an early 4-3 lead in the third, but John Carrol put together a 15-1 run for an 18-5 lead. John Carroll eventually reached match point, 24-12, but the Tigers fought off seven consecutive points to make it a five-point deficit, 24-19. John Carroll won the next point en route to the sweep.
