ITHACA, N.Y. – RIT sophomore diver
Gellert Kish finished fifth in the three-meter competition at the NCAA Diving Regional at Ithaca, Saturday.
Kish finished fifth with an 11-dive score of 506.35, Saturday. The 2023 Liberty League Diver of the Year placed fifth in Friday's one-meter competition with an 11-dive score of 480.55.
Kish is the first-alternate from the Ithaca Region, missing out on qualifying for the NCAA Championship by 1.6 points.
Junior
Neko Ferrara finished 14th in Friday's one-meter competition with an 11-dive score of 414.65.
Carnegie Mellon's Judson Kyle won Saturday's competition followed by Connor Compton, James Kyle and Trent Makowiec.
The top-two divers from each board along with the next three finishers advance to the NCAA Championship to be held March 15-18 in Greensboro, N.C.
