FORT PIERCE, FL – The No. 19 Men's Swimming & Diving fell at the New Year's Eve at Indian River meet on Tuesday, losing to 48-time defending
NJCAA champion Indian River State College, 177-104.
Junior
Mike Atanasoff led the Tigers in Florida, winning the 50 Freestyle and 50 Butterfly while leading off the winning 200 Freestyle Relay. Senior
Brendan Kapp also won two individual events, winning 50 Breaststroke and 100 Breaststroke.
In diving, the Tigers were led by sophomore
Gellert Kish, who finished second in the three meter event and third in the one meter.
RIT hosts Hamilton on Saturday at Judson Pool.
