BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The RIT women's track & field team finished fifth out of 14 teams at the Brockport Invitational, Saturday.
- Freshman Caroline Hill won the 200 (26.22) and finished second in the 400 (1:00.74), hitting PRs in both events with a pair of Atlantic Region Championship qualifying times.
- Junior Catherine Fox also hit an Atlantic Region qualifying mark in winning the pole vault (3.20m/10' 6").
- Senior Marian Draper (5:23.27) finished third in the mile while sophomore Violet Ameele took fifth place in the triple jump (9.97m/32' 8.5")
- The host Golden Eagles won the meet with 153 points, followed by Geneseo (128), Daemen (103), St. John Fisher (66) and the Tigers (44) to round out the top-five team scores.
RIT will host its second invitational of the winter this coming Friday (Feb. 11), starting at 4:00 p.m. in Gordon Field House.
